The CBS was presented and discussed at a series of Community Open Houses held in Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge in February, 2013. Thank you to those who gave their valuable input!

The Storefront is now Closed!

The Storefront was created in the spring to house project materials, provide a project meeting space and to act a community resource centre for the duration of the project. After eight enjoyable months, the storefront is now closed.

We have really enjoyed using this space and want to thank you for attending our public events here and for dropping in to learn more about the project!

For Your Convenience

The CTC Community Building Strategy needs your input, whether you’re able to attend in person or not. The team has created ways for you to participate electronically, at a time convenient for you.

We encourage you to participate in person, but if you are unable to, the team will make a best effort to keep you informed by regularly updating this website. Be sure to check back often!

Sign-up to the Region’s mailing list to receive regular notice about the progress of our work, reports on major findings, and dates of upcoming events. You can sign up for electronic updates by clicking here.

Send in comments on any aspect of the CTC Community Building Strategy project to CentralTransitCorridor [at] RegionofWaterloo.ca. The team reads and appreciates every comment submitted. A summary of comments will be added to this website once a sufficient number of comments are received.

Stakeholders

The project team has identified key stakeholders from across the region, with expertise in areas as wide ranging as the environment, heritage, small business, accessibility, youth interests, and so forth. A letter of invitation to participate was sent to each of these groups, and interviews held with many of them. If you are a member of a stakeholder group whom we’ve yet to contact, please contact us.
